my 2 all time FAVORITE Cleaning products
Hey all,
Decided that while my floors are drying fromt he mopping I just did I would sit with a nice cold bottle of water and Blog about my 2 favorite cleaning products...
First off let me say..mopping day is Thursday but I kind of didnt do it last thursday and they were looking pretty bad.. so ALAS.. i spent my me time mopping today.. which was ok.. I love the look and smell of clean floors.. I do it during naptime to ensure at least an hour of the beautiful look and smell before kids come in and spill juice and smoosh crackers all over it.. awww the life of a stay at home mom...
Well my 2 favorite cleaning products are ones you do actually have to buy.. sorry I know I try for Low or No cost tips and stuff.. but these items are cheap.. and FABULOUS.. so pinch some pennies and get what ya need ladies...
First up is my everything wipe down supply in the house...
its nothing fancy.. nothing new I found on TV.. its the tried and true product of house hold for years..
WINDEX
This is one of my favorites for this reason (IT CLEANS EVERYTHING) it cleans the gunk of my counters, it cleans the crusted stuff on my stove, it makes my faucets shiny.. AND it cleans windows..
This is an item I buy 1 bottle maybe every 6 months.. I just buy the large refill portion at our local Bj's wholesale.. generally there is a 2-3$ off coupon in the flyer.. comes out to around 6$ for endless pretty smelling, shiny clean surfaces...
There are also multiple types of windex.. windex with vinegar.. windex plus.. etc etc.. you get my point..
LOVE ME SOME WINDEX..
Im sure if I hopped on pinterest I could even find a recipe for windex.. until then.. Ill buy buy big jug and keep refilling my squirt bottle...
SECOND..
LIBMAN WONDER MOP
To me, which is someone who has 1 room with carpet in my whole house, Thats right ALLLLL hardwood.. i need a good mop.. A mop that I can use over and over again.. I spot clean quite frequently but I need a mop to stand the test of time without having to constantly buy some wipe or pad to attach to my mop.. ENTER.. the Libman Wonder Mop... I picked this baby up at walmart for under 10$... what I love about this mop is the mop head.. Its a super nice microfiber mop head..the mop ringer which slides down the handle to squeeze excess water is easy to opperate and keep excesss drips off the floor.. the best part.. THE MOP HEAD DETACHES.. throw it in your washing machine when your done and BAM.. clean mop head for your next mopping need.. they also sell replacements. If your someone who has apartment living and can not wash it everytime your mop.. no worries.. soak it in hot water for a while.. dry it out.. and every few moppings bring it with your load of laundry to the laundry mat.. good items to wash with towels... but Ive had mine for a year and just wash after my mopping day and its held up very nicely.. it traps dirt easily, gets rid of those sticky marks on the floor from juice and food.
Another nice part is I dont have to buy some refill solution like a lot of the mops now.. I fill my sink with nice hot tap water and put a few capfulls of Murphy's oil and I have a nice clean floor that smells good.. LOVE ME MY MOP
OK folks.. figured after all the heavy self care talk we could use some cleaning tips...
Much Love and Blessings on this Martin Luther King Day..
