TUESDAY.. rejoice.. MONDAY IS GONE..lol

Happy Tuesday..
ITS TUESDAY.. not more case of the Monday's here..

DAY 16- A place for EVERYTHING
I did read todays tip.. Its hard to think this journey of decluttering is halfway over.. I dont feel like Ive accomplished much.. but I really have.. so awesome to know I can go in my kitchen and things have a place.. I can find what I want in my pantry (and it looks kinda cute as well) ALSO.. my very first project which was the entryway closet.. IT STILL LOOKS GOOD.. i knew taking the door off was a smart Idea.. if I have to look at the mess Im mor apt to clean it up..
What have you been up to in your home these past 16 tip days.. (I say this because I take weekends off) I know Ive enjoyed more time with my kids.. i work on my project for the day and once its done.. IM DONE.. i mean I keep up with the normal stuff around the house.. but the way these 31 days to cleaner home challenges go.. is its not meant to be done in one day..Its also nice that I have found extra projects to do a long the way. Some things my daughter has been able to help with.. SOme my husband.. its been nice..
Please Please send me some pics of the things you have been doing.. Would love to see what you have all been up to..
And if your just tuning in.. NO WORRIES..you gotta start somewhere and today is a great day to start
Day 16 is all about everything having a place.. this is a challenge and a half for me because I still have quite a bit of clutter.. currently the worst offending room in my house is the guest room
you can see wrapping paper tubes and craft supplies ALLLLL Over my guest room bed.. hope no one shows up unexpectadly.. This happened over christmas holiday season.. Family gifts needed to be stored where I could get to them easily to work on them throughout the week.. and eventually more and more stuff just piled up.. WHOOPS.. (see i have awful messy rooms in my house too)
This was my old office area..In a recent post I have started building my command center and this is ALLLL the stuff that needs to be filtered through, filed, thrown out, what have you.. A LARGE project that room is.. thankfully the door stays shut to this room most of the time. I dont want the kids making a bigger mess than it already is.. GOOD NEWS though Hubby said he would help me go through everything and get rid of the Old ratty walmart style desk that is currently in there.. this will now leave room for some nice wall shelving and a chair I have in the basement that would be nice for a guestroom.. I want my guest room to be welcoming.. right now all it does for me is make me want to run away..lol

This is a prime example of what Kelly is talking about today.. however today is not the day for this trash heap of a room.. today I willbe working on some basic household cleaning.. IE.. dishes put away, counters wiped, my dining room table peldged and cleaned down.. its been a few days on that one.. im sure there has to be ketchup stuck on there from the kiddos lunch yesterday..lol.
HOwever today I am going to find a home for everything in my dining room... Check for the post later...
