CLOSET OF SHAME REVEAL (WINNER AS WELL)

Hey all.. HAPPY MONDAY.. the day has arrived.. WOO HOO.. the CLOSET OF SHAME has now become to me.. the closet of fabulousness..lol..

Today Ill try to keep it brief since I have ALOT of photos to show you... SOO without further ADIEU  the closet of shame REVEAL

Just a quick Reminder of the BEFORE

I did  mention on FB that Hubby surprised me with some funds to run to the Christmas Tree Shops to pick up storage containers.. Here are some of the items I was able to purchase.. Decorative Baskets.. Also some regular storage bins.. As well as a Jar for my kitchen to store my rice..

Here is me beginning to clean out the closet.. I scrapped the whole store everything in the Guest room.. I was on the move and knew I would finish it the day I started..

I mentioned I had been Given a China set for my wedding.. Here is what the set looks like.. I def need to break if out and use it.. Easter will be the perfect occasion..

Here is a pile of save and trash combined.. I ENDED UP WITH TWO BAGS OF TRASH

Here is the closet almost ALLLL cleaned out.. I did go through after and Wipe up all the shelves

I decided one thing the closet needed was a touch of something..lol.. That something turned out to be Contact Paper.. I measured and cut the amount of pieces I needed

Even got Hubby in on the papering..

Now was time for some labels.. However I don't have sticker paper and I do not have a label maker.. So I searched on pinterest for "Free Label Printable"  AMAZING what pops up.

Some of the suggestions I received were to take the puzzle pieces and put them in a baggie and get rid of the box.. the problem is.. the way my daughter learned to do puzzles so well was to use the picture on the box.. SOOOO I went through and threw away the puzzles missing pieces which cut our puzzles down by half.. I also threw away the games that were missing important pieces.. This and a couple larger floor puzzles and play dough products were all that was left..

Here is is folks.. the CLOSET of SHAME is NO MORE.. Ive been dubbing this the CLOSET OF FABULOUSNESS..lol..

One thing that was suggested which I really want to do is to make labels for Each shelf.. such as APPLIANCE for the shelf holding my extra appliances.. 

Top Couple Shelves are holding Easter Items I am going to use.. the things Ive picked up here and there for decorating.

Next shelf is holding the China Tea cups I could not put in my Dining room server..

As well as batteries and light bulbs

I find I have ALOT of tea lights and smaller candles.. I now do not have to search for them.. As they are in the basket on the left.. the right is holding some odds and ends I find I use almost daily.. my Special Wood table cleaner that came with my table.. A small screw driver.. items of that nature.

On the bottom we still have ALOT but the items are things I generally prefer to be used in the dining room. IE puzzles used on the table so we don't lose anymore pieces.. The Play dough I went through. we downsized by half by just throwing away the sets with dried up play dough.. I then took the items we had left and bagged them.. they are each in the correct box now..lol.. MUCH easier.. I can see everything at all times..

I finished this project on Friday evening.. so I kept the door open while I was working at the table.. while we ate dinner at the table.. and even when I was doing dinner dishes.. I could see the open closet from the sink.. I'M IN HEAVEN.. WHAT a project.. and it definitely was one that needed to be done start to finish in the same day.. But I did it.. super happy with it..
