Mini May Challenge Ideas- Cleaning Caddy...

Hey all.. Happy Thursday

Sooooo after reading and re-reading Jens post I thought for me personally I need to start simple.. no need to start the 3 week Challenge going crazy and to lose all my steam..

I plan to do quite a few things (the operative word PLAN) however maybe you just want to tackle one thing and that's quite alright.. REMEMBER.. SHARE this with us..

If you're not subscribed or don't know the email.. you can always share it on the FB page.. or email it to me...(Shanun@comcast.net)

SOOOOO

I have spent the past few days looking around the house on some things I could do.. or do BETTER..

one thing Jen mentioned which I knew I was lacking was a cleaning caddy..

YEARS AGO.. I had purchased a carrier for cleaning supplies yet it was used for random things and never for the real purpose...

SOOO I went under the sink and grabbed the dirty caddy as well as the cleaning supplies I take around with me throughout the house.. for me a cleaning caddy is great because we have 2 floors.. I do keep some things in each bathroom to make life easier.. IE.. toilet brush.. toilet bowl cleaner, and Lysol wipes.. However I don't want to store rags in every room..lol.. SOOOO I got to work and here is what I came up with...

Here is the nice dirty cleaning caddy.. kind of an oxymoron.. nothing a little soap and water couldn't fix.. while that dried I got to work under the sink, thinking of everything I use on both floors that would be SOOOOO nice to not have to run back to the kitchen to get.

Heres what I came up with...

-3/4 Old washcloths or shammy clothes to use as cleaning rags.
-Stack of Coffee Filters- GREAT FOR WINDOWS
-Swiffer duster- for lampshades etc etc
-Fresh Sponge
-Can of febreeze (much easier than toting a HUGE bottle around)
-Shower Power cleaner  (1/2-1/2 Vinegar and Dawn Dish soap) amazing on soap scum
Pledge (obvious)
-Green works (Bathroom sinks and door jams)
-Blind Duster (I know it seems like a senseless cleaning tool but I have ALLLLLLL Venetian blinds in my home.. Picked this little baby up at Dollar tree (the microfiber cloth is removable so you can wash and reuse)
-Glade Carpet fresh-almost every room has an area rug in it.. this helps to keep the rooms fresh.. I throw it on.. let it sit while I clean the rest of a room then vacuum it up and I'M DONE..
-Also my little srub brush

Everything seemed to have a nice fitting space except the green works.. SOOO I am just storing it right next to my caddy.. that way I wont have to search for it..

WELL I'm ready to tackle my 15 minutes a room now much easier.. but I don't think I will get as much of a workout..lol.. I'm constantly walking to the kitchen to get what I need..lol..

Much Love and Blessings

Shanun

PS.. all in all a 10 minute project...
