2 Weeks and Counting.....
well. Its official.. I have been decluttering and organizing for 2 weeks now..
some things I have noticed are- i dont have as much clutter, and that things are staying picked up in the rooms I have worked on.. which is nice.. I believe that because Yes its taken me 2 weeks to organize and clean 2 large rooms.. BUT.. by taking the time and trashing what is not needed or used, and finding homes for the items I am keeping.. EVERYTHING in those 2 rooms now have a home..
The Playroom to be honest is the biggest challenge to keep picked up.. Its hard to get my kids to pick up.. I work with them.. but some days I just throw the towel in and pick it up myself at rest time before I sit down to Blog...
Oh well. I know Im not helping my kids by doing that, but man, some days the battle is to great..
Soo.. its been wonderful to take the time to read Kelly's tips and other posts on her blog and its been a great challenge to keep my eye on the unused items in my house to see how I can finally use them..
You'd be surprised how many knick knacky things and baskets and storage things you can find unused in your home...
No real tips for today.. just wanted to celebrate my 2 weeks declutter/organize anniversary with you all...
I will not be posting Kellys tips today or tomorrow..
I take the weekend off to spend with my family and basic upkeep of my home..
Tonight is my Father's 59th birthday party about an hour away .. excited to go and see my family.. I chose to move away to be with my husband.. so I dont see them as much as Id like..
But thats another novel of a blog Post..
